NZIt was a convenient location for getting to Eden Park as we could catch the train from New Lynn very easily to get to Eden park in around 30 minutes door to door. The room had nice decor and was as shown in the pictures. The door lock was a little confusing to operate but the owner sends a video through which helps to explain this very well. Good value for money for a bed for a night after an Eden Park concert and we would stay again for this as the room was pleasant.
The title of the property is very misleading! There is no free carpark. The owner clarified this situation to us as this in a message when we were looking for the free carpark: “It is street carpark(on my webpage). On the street. Where everyone else parks their car. Dont block other people's drive way.” So be aware if you are choosing this property as you think there is guaranteed free car park like they suggest in the title, there isn’t! You just have to try your luck with street parking. The bath was also not working and we were instructed not to use it. Bring your own tea, milk and coffee to use in their kitchen.

No car park, being told that there was a bath in my bathroom, but if I wish to use it there was an extra $15.00 per day on top of what I had already paid. The key pad to enter the property was faulty, so it took ages everything I wanted to enter the premises. There was no TV, just a basic room. I would not recommend this property. Booking.com you need to vet your property's better, as what was advertised was not what I got. Extremely disappointed.
AUNZFor a very reasonable price you get a smallish bedroom with a comfy bed and a very nice ensuite bathroom with a lovely shower (there's a bath but it costs an extra $15) It's in a modern house and a good option for a couple of nights if you're budget conscious and just need a place to sleep. Wifi is great and we found it to be quiet. You get access to a decent sized shared kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities and a dining table. The location is good, close to shops and public transport. There is free on street parking. We never met the owner but communication was good via messaging.
It wasn't as clean as we would have liked....particularly the bathroom floor and bathmat, We were only given one bath towel each - no hand towel. The towels and linen maybe need updating / upgrading as they didn't have that nice fresh smell / feel. If these things had been better we would have given a 9 out of 10 for sure for the price,
NZThe bathroom was a very elegant style with warm floors. The room was nice & warm, access to essential amenities. For the price of $75 is was an alright deal all in all.
The bed was sitting on a fold out cardboard mesh thing, which was a bit uncomfy. Would have appreciated mattress & pillow protectors, as it’s unhygienic to be in close contact with a mattress that others have been in contact with without a protective liner for bacteria. We were also told on the day, that the bath that was in the ensuite would cost an additional $15 per day to use, which was disappointing. There was also hair in the bathroom sink & shower….
