The drainage system in the bathroom basin seems to be clogged. Water fills up the basin than the drainage can release the water. Not really a problem, but it was worrying.

I stayed at Menlyn Maine from 19–21 December for my birthday with my partner. Unfortunately, our stay was not fully comfortable. When we arrived, the washing machine was still running with sheets inside, which made us feel like the room was not prepared on time for our check-in. The space also didn’t accommodate two people well. There was only one chair and no proper table for breakfast or lunch, which made it difficult to sit and enjoy our meals. The small table provided was not practical for two guests. We also had issues with the plug points. When plugging in items like the iron or charger, the TV switched off, which was inconvenient. The swimming pool was quite far from our room as well — we were on the 7th floor and the pool was on the 16th — so it didn’t feel easily accessible. Besides these points, I don’t have complaints about other things. I believe small improvements like ensuring the room is fully ready before arrival, adding more seating, a proper table, and fixing the plug points would make the stay more comfortable for couples.

The staff was amazing. Very warm and welcoming.

There seemed to be an issue with the drain. And the unit isnt really well kept. More could be done towards cleaning. There weren't any glasses or handwash at the basin. The towels are rather old
