3 Bed Static Caravan @ Hoburne Devon Bay

It was lovely, clean, and exactly what we expected. The owner even left milk and cleaning products for us.

when we booked we expected an outdated caravan - this was not the case at all! it was super clean comfy and really spacious!! looks like newer carpets which helps give it a more luxury feel. it’s really close to the facilities so we could wander up to the pool etc in the rain in no time! there was everything you needed in the caravan as well - we’ve been to some with terrible crockery etc but this had it all even flutes for the Prosecco which is a great touch! we were a group of 5 girls and boy and because of the 2 toilets we had no issues with that 😂 plenary of seating space in the lounge WiFi worked brilliantly as well! it was just so easy! there was a huge queue at reception when we arrived but as we booked direct through booking.com we just accessed the caravan straight away without needing to queue and passes were waiting for us inside the van! site wise the bus down to Paignton was excellent and meant no worrying about parking or the “who can have a lunchtime beer” debate! the pool was clean and in summer I can imagine the outdoor pool would be perfect! lots to entertain the kids - I wish I’d set daily limits in the arcade but they enjoyed it! there’s also a free soft play next to the main bar so that entertained the smallest ones. the bar must have been recently renovated as it looks very different to the pics online it’s the best looking holiday clubhouse I’ve seen! foods is only served in cardboard boxes which for the price is annoying but I understand why they do it as it gets really busy. all in all we will be back 100% - great communication from the host and an amazing trip!

if I was being really picky I’d say the lack of plug sockets but I always take a mini extension lead - again 5 girls need plugs 😂 but that’s me being very picky!

The location of the van was in a good area for Paignton

The facilities were all closed at the site. Even though they gave us free leisure passes.???. The room they did open for New Year's day could only hold 50 people, whilst there was supposed to be 200 on site! The mattresses in the van were barely 6 inches deep. Resulting in everyone suffering with a back back. The shower could only be used by 1 person every 60 minutes. With 6 people in the can, it was a challenge.

Noise from the club house when people leave at night

Seating in lounge area needs cleaning carpet also. Duvets could be thicker sheets pillow cases and covers could be replaced but definitely ironed .kitchen and toilet areas were very clean . Outside caravan decking needed cleaning lots of older cobwebs were attached to caravan. Seating outside need to be also replaced. We all had a wonderful time whilst staying on the site . Thank you . If these issues are sorted it would be perfect.
