One of the bedrooms is on the main street which could be noisy

Wonderful unassuming apartment. We had a fabulous stay here at the end of August 2024. First impressions were, very light and airy, spotlessly clean, a lot bigger than you would think and beautifully designed. We were only 2 people but you could easily have a family stay with 2 double/king beds and a day bed that turns into a double. The kitchen had everything we needed, coffee/nespresso maker with complimentary coffee, kettle, toaster, oven, also table top oven, all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, plates, cups and glasses, fridge freezer and washing machine, iron, ironing board, hairdryer. All good quality. There was a lovely dining room that can fit 6 people and a comfortable seating area with a music system. It is 5 -8 minutes walk to just about everything, shops, patisserie, gelato, restaurants and all the historical sights with a beautiful park right in the centre of syracuse. Anyone wanting to spend time in Ortigia just has about 8 minutes to walk through some lovely streets. We had a car and parked for free on the street behind the apartment although you can also park at the apartment. The owner Giuseppe was so helpful on advice of where to go, what to see, restaurants, in fact anything you needed, he created a group chat on whatsapp to make it easy for contact. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this home and if we get back to Syracuse we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

Nothing

Very spacious, good layout, great bathroom and A/C . Also excellent location to Ortigia and I was always able to find free parking nearby on the street.

The main issue we had with the property was large urine stains on the mattress in one of the bedrooms. The mattress pad had also not been cleaned. The other bed was perfect. The host was very responsive and apologetic and ordered a new pad to put on top but we had to flip the Mattress and sleep from the bottom spring side for 2 of the 3 nights of our stay which was not comfortable. Also the location street side made it quite noisy in the front bedroom from early in the morning until quite late in the evening.

Good position, helpful host, coffee machine, water, biscuits as welcome gift, parking nearby.

The accommodation was very spacious and clean. Very convenient location, would definitely stay here again

Everything was perfect

I won't repeat anything about the amenities and the host, it's perfect and exactly how the other reviewers described. Unfortunately everything pales out to the noise in the main bedroom.

The main bedroom has widow(clasic not doubled - so all the noise is exactly the same when it's closed as when it's opened) directly to a street with a lot of traffic, even late at night. We were not able to sleep at all in the first night and in the second night we had to get earplugs (an improvement but still didn't rest ok since we're not used to them)
