Property had not been serviced when we arrived at 3 pm, no one answered call, eventually got hold of someone on whatapp and they sent people to clean, we eventually got a clean house after 5 pm
ZAEasy communication and our host was always checking up on us. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you could need. The rooms are comfy and clean.
There was nothing not to like except we had some issues with the wifi which did not get resolved.
ZAZAThe undertile heat was fantastic and the house was warm and cozy in winter. The bedding was of very high quality and very warm. The geysers had more than enough hot water. The view was beautiful and the balconies upstairs very nice. We liked that was an inside braai and gas fireplaces in each bedroom. The kitchen was very well-equipped with crockery, cutlery and glassware. There were many dishwasher detergent capsules available for use. And there was plenty of wood and ice, which was fabulous.
It was problematic that there were NO spare toilet rolls anywhere. We ran out in two days. Each toilet only had the roll on the holder and that was all. We have never stayed in a self-catering house with this problem. A long stay would be a different matter but there should have been sufficient for 4 nights. There was also NO laundry detergent. Not even a cupful. The braai room TV remote did not have batteries. The only available hairdrier was broken. The pre-paid electricity ran out on the last night. Fortunately, the agents were contactable and sorted out the problem immediately.
