Very clean ... very comfortable sleep Staff helped a lot

The price was excellent, especially as it was affordable for work

The tv picture was poor quality

Location was useful for the Newport marathon

- Entry to property was confusing. I was provided several PIN numbers: one to my room door and one to the front door. Upon arrival the front door code wouldn’t work. - The first room we were given was totally unacceptable: large coverings of black mould and damp on the walls, dirty bedsheets, dirty surfaces (bedside table and desk) and the bathroom had a strong sewage odour (the toilet, sink and shower had also not been cleaned properly). For approx £160 for the night (surge pricing for the local marathon weekend), the room condition was a complete disgrace. We flagged this to the helpline and were moved to a different room (which did not have mould but was still not fully clean). - To note, the fire door to the second bedroom had a large gap at the bottom. I’m not trying to pick holes in our experience, but this was a) annoying as a lot of light was let in from the outside into our room during the night and b) unsafe and unfit for a working fire door. In short, I would not recommend this place to stay and politely request a full refund based on the experience we had.

I really like that it was protected by codes for each room and the main door, the bed was right in front of the tv, and it was a really nice view

The bed was a little bit uncomfortable and not much room to move around, the bathroom was very cramped and the sink was in the bedroom.
