Nice place compact but really useable

Gorgeous location, very remote with a lovely view. The cottage was very cozy.

It was difficult to find at first, and it is far from any shops etc so be prepared for that

Not clean, no electricity, not the hot tub that was advertised (no log fired hot tub), slugs everywhere, shower was cold, would not recommend, very disappointed.

Lovely cabin, relaxing area

The logs were all damp which meant the log burner kept going out so we were freezing and had a very uncomfortable night, also meant that the hot tub didn’t heat so we sadly didn’t use that. The electric didn’t work initially but the owner did send someone to replace the battery so that was resolved

Upon arrival we found the smoke alarm inside the cabin disconnected from the battery and on the side. We soon worked out why, it's because the fire inside completely fills the cabin with smoke. We did not feel safe at all staying here. There was no ventilation inside so we made the decision not to stay for safety reasons. The fire for the hot tub - no matter how hot or long it was burning it wouldn't heat the hot tub as the cover has holes in so the heat escapes. We were offered another night with a different style hot tub but we won't be visiting the location again as it was for after we had climbed Snowdon. After this the owners just stopped replying to all my messages. Owners will not respond to booking.com about this and a few other small issues we raised so unfortunately I've had to leave a negative review. We were very concerned about the smoke filled cabin, did not stay for worry of being gassed out.

Perfect for a secluded get away, very peaceful and tranquil, hot tub was lovely and so was the views. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Don't add more wood to the hot tub once it reaches temperature as it will get too hot to sit in but there is a hose pipe to add cold water if needed
