We stayed here as a family for five nights and had an absolutely amazing experience. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had such a lovely, cozy atmosphere — even decorated in a very festive, Christmassy way, which made our stay extra special. Joanna and Aurélie, are truly kind-hearted people. They were incredibly helpful, supportive, and welcoming throughout our stay. Their warmth and genuine hospitality really stood out and made us feel at home from the very first moment. We had a wonderful time and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to any family — and really to anyone — who is staying in Damarin. We would definitely come back again!

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The owner Johanna is truly amazing—warm, attentive, and full of incredibly helpful recommendations that made our trip unforgettable. Every single detail in the house is thoughtfully planned: from dishwasher tablets and laundry powder to perfectly stocked fridges, barbecue utensils, beach umbrellas, and chairs. I’m extremely demanding when it comes to cleanliness, and this place blew me away. Everything was spotless—the glasses literally sparkle, and the kitchenware is brand new with no signs of wear or burnt marks. The décor is stylish and elegant, and the comfort level is unmatched. The pillows were so good that I ended up buying the same ones for myself! Living in a tropical climate, I know how hard it is to maintain a home in such pristine condition. There’s a gardener every day, and on weekends Johanna herself tidies up fallen flower petals. It’s no surprise this property has over 200 glowing reviews on Booking and such a high rating—it’s well deserved! What truly touched us were the thoughtful Christmas gifts—beautiful surprises for our child and for us, both upon arrival and at departure. These small gestures made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for. The area of Tamarin is prestigious and peaceful, with great neighbors and close proximity to all major attractions and activities. Honestly, after staying here, we moved to a luxury 5-star hotel at Port Louis, and it didn’t even come close to the comfort and attention to detail we experienced at LaKaz Del Sol. Staying at Lakaz Del Sol brought us more joy and comfort than a 5-star hotel! Everything is new, stylish, and beautiful. The kitchen cleanliness alone left me speechless. If you’re looking for the best part of the island and a place that feels like paradise, this is it. Highly recommended!  

This property features 3 or 4 apartments and a shared swimming pool. My primary concern when booking was whether we would feel like we were staying in a private villa or if we'd be in a block where we’d meet other guests daily. Fortunately, the thoughtful layout of the property made us feel as if we were the only guests here, creating a truly private and relaxing experience. So, if you value privacy and are still undecided, just book it!

Sehr zuvorkommende, herzliche Gastgeberinnen, die ihr ganzes Herzblut mit viel Liebe zum Detail in diese Unterkunft gesteckt haben. Sehr schöne Dekorationen, innen wie auch insbesondere aussen, was eine schöne Atmosphäre auf der traumhaften Terrasse oder im sehr gepflegten Garten ermöglichte. Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird, sowie Waschmaschine und Geschirrspüler. Zimmer mit bequemen Betten, je mit eigenem Badezimmer, ausgestattet. Auto wird empfohlen, da sonst zu Fuss ca. 30min zum Ortszentrum.

Le logement jouit d’une vue imprenable sur l’océan tant depuis la terrasse que depuis les chambres . Il est de tout confort hyper bien équipé , tout y est pensé pour que l’on se sente comme à la maison . Des guides conçus par Johanna pour visiter cette île magnifique sont présents en anglais et français 😜et Johanna et Aurélie nous conseillent sur les excursions et restaurants locaux , elles nous rendent visite afin de vérifier si l’on ne manque de rien 👍Nous avons énormément voyagé mais à Lakaz Del Sol tout y est parfait , idéalement situé pour partir aux quatre coins de l’île … Les literies sont hyper confortables et les chambres spacieuses et très bien décorées .. Que dire du jardin et de la piscine un havre de paix . C’est magnifique. Quand j’ai vu les commentaires des prédécesseurs je me suis dit c’est impossible ben si c’est réel donc si je pouvais je mettrais un 11/10 tellement l’accueil est chaleureux Merci Johanna Aurélie grâce à vous on était au paradis on y retournera c’est certain ! vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés Merci pour la vanille est le rhum ( cadeaux de départ ) Le tourisme est magique avec des hôtes géniaux

Ha egy igazán tökéletes otthont keres a nyaralása alatt, akkor megtalálta. Ha tudnék 11-est adnék, ugyanis nemcsak mindennel felszerelt, madár csicsergős, medencés, grillezős, privát parkolással ellátott és biztonsági kamerákkal őrzött kis ékszerdoboz a hely, hanem Johanna és Aurélie személyében olyan gondos, törődő házigazdákat ismerhettünk meg akik nemcsak lesték hogyan tehetnék az ott tartózkodásunkat felejthetetlenné hanem személyes ajánlásukat követve igazán megtapasztalhattuk milyen Mauritius valójában (legyen szó akár a legjobb strandokról, parti éttermekről, delfinnézős hajókázásról vagy egy csodálatos tábortüzes naplemente megtekintéséről ami alatt helyi művészek engednek bebocsátást a sziget történelmébe hangszerükkel, zenéjükkel, táncukkal…)

Olyat itt nincs, nem lehet találni. Ha esetleg mégis sikerülne (pl: nem találtam fog hagyma nyomót vagy zöldség szeletelőt) akkor azt másnap megvették!!! Ez talán mindent elmond a szálláshelyről és a tulajdonos hozzállásáról. Egy nagy baj van csak, hogy nincs több ilyen hely a világon…

I would highly recommend this apartment to everyone, especially for the following reasons: transportation, comfort, kitchen, and service. Location & Transportation: The apartment is very conveniently located. It takes about 40–50 minutes from the airport, and the journey is smooth and easy. Bedding & Comfort: The owner, Johanna, must be someone with a great sense of taste and a genuine love for life. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but the bedding in this apartment is exceptionally soft and comfortable — truly comparable to a five-star hotel experience. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and all the appliances and utensils are high quality. After cooking, I could easily use the dishwasher, which made everything even more convenient. Service & Host: Johanna is incredibly kind and thoughtful. She takes such good care of herself that she feels more like an older sister than a host. I truly hope to come back and stay here again with my family next time.

Tout était plus que parfait! Cottage et guest house sublimes, très bien équipé, rien ne manque. La cuisine d’été face à la piscine avec le barbecue est très appréciable ! L’accueil , la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Johanna et Aurélie sont exceptionnels! Elles ont rendu notre séjour inoubliable !
