10 Minutes from NYC - Astoria LIC Queens CityView

The location was good.

Bathroom toiletries facilities were very poor!!! The floor's wood damaged and it becomes like a slope in many places which caused us always terribly problem to walk freely in living room area. We had to move inside the room by avoiding that area.

Convenient to my son and subway; good value. Comfortable master bed

Flooring was very uneven. Must have been bad leak and flooring buckled . Almost dangerous in spots. Bathroom could have been better cleaned .. outside bottom edge of shower I wiped off dust and hair. Top part of shower could have been cleaned better. Need a shower mat.

Location was OK. Supermarket opposite. Close to the subway

(1) the front bedroom window had broken windows and blew open twice during the night. We had to remove the fly screens to try to secure it. (2) we had to sleep in our clothes as we had one sheet and one blanket. we looked every where but but here was no other bedding available. The was a very old heater but it was much too loud to have on at night. (3) we didnt contact the owner because our daughter had made the booking and we had flown over from UK to attend her wedding and we didn't want to upset her or cause her any more stress. (4) the shower was filthy, didn't look like it had been cleaned - ever. (5) the floors were uneven and grubby with lots of 'dust bunnies' everywhere (6) we left a detailed note regarding our stay- especially the dangerous windows - but so far, our daughter has had no response.

Really liked the place and location. Great communication with the host, all of my questions answered.

Just please get the shower floor cleaned up a bit, and perhaps firmer mattresses for the main room. Everything else was great!

Great property. Located above a cafe that we had visited before. Close to the subway restaurants and shopping. Very nice apartment. Very comfortable. One of the best we have ever stayed at in Astoria over past eight years.
