The apartment was functional and inexpensive, but travelers should be aware of a few drawbacks. The location isn’t ideal—Rush Green is not the best part of Romford, and we even noticed a neighbor chaining their car to prevent theft. While buses stop within a few hundred meters, you’ll still need a 15-minute bus ride to reach Romford for main train connections. On the positive side, entry was straightforward, the price was low, and the apartment was relatively clean. However, during both of our stays the host hadn’t prepared properly for three guests: there weren’t enough towels, and the third bed wasn’t made up. We arrived late one evening and had to rummage through disorganized (and not perfectly clean) cupboards to find a duvet and a pillow for our son. The towels provided were brand new but hadn’t been laundered, so bits of fabric stuck to us when drying off. The main bed was also quite small, which made it less comfortable for two adults. Communication with the landlord was adequate but impersonal. They did respond when needed, but messages felt automated rather than genuinely attentive. For example, even after I had written the day before to confirm we’d check out at 10 am, I still received the same “friendly” automated reminder about leaving by 11 am—identical to the one from our earlier stay. Finally, the front door knob was broken. It didn’t prevent us from entering or exiting, but it was never fixed during our visits. Overall: This rental offers a budget option with decent transport links, but the lack of attention to detail, impersonal communication, and less-than-ideal location make it better suited for undemanding travelers who just need a place to sleep.

Was a very cute studio, had everything you needed and very conveniently located.
