"The worst three day stay in my life"

the photos are amazing, that’s true

When we opened the door to the apartment, we were hit by the terrible smell from the toilet. When it was time to go to bed, we found dirty bedlinen on the bed which probably hadn’t been changed for ages - there were hairs on the sheets and disgusting yellow stains all over the duvet cover. I contacted the host immediately, they responded they would fix everything the next day, however, our further exchange contained copy-pasted messages about them hoping we feel comfortable. When I contacted Booking.com customer service the next day, it turned out the host lied to them saying they sent us clean bedlinen and air freshener ( it would not help anyway). We weren’t provided with Wi-Fi password, there was no salt / sugar / dishwashing liquid / sponges - we had to buy all of this plus blankets to keep us warm at night.
