Wooded Chalet w Hot Tub & Indoor Pool, Gym Access

Lovely home with peaceful privacy for the home away from home feel. We adored the fire pit, private hot tub, and running stream in the back of the property! Everything was clean and comfortable. Community pools were perfect! We will absolutely book our next next visit at this home again.

First when we arrived we had to call to have someone come and unlock a bedroom door and turn on the water. Workers were scheduled to redo the roof that day. They didn't know the house was booked. We said no that's no ok. The downstairs bathroom shower diverter didn't work. Half the water went down the tub and half came out the shower and the fixtures were pulled off the wall!!! They left us NO toilet paper!!!!! Light fixtures in the main living area were broken and a potential fire hazard. The 3 kitchen skillets (teflon maybe) were not usable due to half the teflon worn off. Stove and oven weren't working properly. We had 9 guests and not enough place settings, silverware. The outdoor firepit area was a bit trashy with cigarette butts, bottle tops, misc plastic and trash. We cleaned it up and left the area better than we found it. We had to shop for toilet paper, paper plates and silverware which was not stated that we needed to provide enough for 9 guests! This place overall needs an update of the above before we would consider renting again. It's obviously been overused and as a place to party!

Let me start by saying we understand this is a house in the woods and not intended for primal luxury setting. With that being said, we didn’t have high expectations but this trip just really disappointed my family of 5. For starters this house isn’t properly cleaned in the slightest. From thick layers of dust coding everything, to the hot tub never being clean, down to the rigid up deck. The pictures had to have been taken when the house first was renovated so I would assume years ago. The back deck is almost falling down. The places was so dirty it felt gross just walking around, to not being able to use any of “amenities”. The “yard games” was an empty deck box with a few grill tools, and half the horse shoes that you can’t even play. The fire pit was moved since the picture was taken. It’s now all over grown with thick weeds growing through the chairs, completely unable to use. The hot tub was so dirty after trying our best to get it clean, we still got way too “itchy” and had to get out and immediately shower. The dishes get put away dirty, in my opinion the bedding doesn’t get washed regularly. The price of this place is unacceptable for the lack of cleanliness and promise to the amenities that you don’t get to enjoy. We brought our concerns up to our point of contact with their booking agent and never heard back. Please save yourself the money and go somewhere else!
