Stunning 5 bed house in Chapel Allerton, sleeps 9

The location and the comfortable spare for our family gathering. Also how helpful and understandingthe host Cath was.

The weather meant we can't use the garden that much.

Location was ideal for our family event .Very quiet but only a short distance from bars restaurants and shops.

It was exceptionally cold and took a long time for the house to warm up. It felt like hadn’t been used recently. We questioned whether cleaners were very good. The outside bins were all overflowing. There was food left on kitchen work surfaces and in fridge The dishwasher was full no dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid. available Had to buy some and dishcloths. Sponges left in kitchen were well used! Baby got quite dirty clothes crawling on floor Cath was very good at communicating

The property is in a great location with easy access to buses and walking distance to Chapel Allerton village centre. it was clean and tidy, very spacious and comfortable, with easy self check-in. Great for family stays.

After my family checked out, the property messaged to say there were some stains to carpets and that they wanted us to pay an additional fee for cleaning. We weren’t aware of having left any stains. The photos provided as evidence were just a closeup of small stains on a carpet so we couldn’t see where in the house this was to verify it. We paid the extra fee via booking.com for peace of mind (the property originally wanted a direct transfer outside of booking.com). It could be that this was all genuine, but I decided to put this in my review in case anybody ever finds themselves in a similar situation.
