"Lovely clean & modern flat just right for our needs"

A clean and modern flat. Lovely view and peaceful. It was an easy walk along the coast to the hustle and bustle of Margate main centre. Easy to find parking too. A good size for our family of 4. There wasn't a microwave but we reheated our leftover takeaway in the oven instead! Good communication from the host. There's a playground nearby which we didnt go in but another option if the kids are beached out!

We arrived whilst dark and it was really difficult to find the building name. An email to the owner prompted a quick response and she was able to direct us.

"Schön eingerichtete Wohnung mit Allem, was wir brauchten."

Der tidal pool nur einen Steinwurf entfernt ist super zum Schwimmen, Strand genießen und Gezeiten beobachten. Geschäfte in Laufentfernung aber nicht super nah. Ruhiges Wohngebiet, Strandpromenade direkt vor dem Haus. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hilfreich, als wir nicht sofort die richtige Haustür fanden. Nicht schlimm aber gut zu wissen: Das Wasser ist hier verständlicherweise extrem kalkhaltig. Für Tee und Kaffee kauft man besser Flaschenwasser und gewisse Kalkablagerungen im Bad etc. sind wohl nicht zu vermeiden. Die Grasfläche vor dem Haus ist beliebt bei Wohnmobilen, die dort (wild) campen. Während unserer Aufenthalt gab es dort drei Wohmobile, die teilweise die Aussicht auf Meer blockierten.
