Charming Room in Capitol Hill - Foxglove Inn Rm 4

Great location on Capitol Hill right near the light rail station and lots of good choices to eat are within a 10 minute walk. I didn't have a car so I didn't have to deal with parking.

very modest pre-packaged snacks, oatmeal, and pop-tarts, which was adequate for me, but some milk would have been nice for the oatmeal or the cereal they had available.

Super cute apartment. Has a private shower and the bed was comfortable. The reserved parking is completely worth it! Quiet little area that was within walking distance of almost everywhere I needed to go!

Great location, easy access from transit and steps to all Capitol Hill has to offer.

The building layout is beautiful.

1.) In room 4, the ceiling fan light won't come on. We had a very "dark" room. 2.) The bed mattress could use an update. It sinks in.

Wir haben im Vorhinein per E-Mail die Zugangscodes erhalten und konnten ohne Schlüssel (sehr angenehm) ins Haus und ins Zimmer kommen. Das Haus ist nur 2 Querstrassen von der Link-Haltestelle "Capitol Hill" entfernt. Also sehr gut mit der Link vom Flughafen aus erreichbar. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll ausgestattet. Rund um die Uhr stehen Snacks und Getränke zur Verfügung. Man trifft die anderen Gäste dann einfach beim Kaffee in der Küche. Man kümmert sich rundum gut um den Gast.

No contact entry, the place was clean and cosy. It had breakfast available at your own convenience. Close to the train station, the area was quiet and nice.

The location was fine. We didn't notice any street noise. The mattress was comfortable.

The lock on our room door needed to be replaced, and per the owners, they are aware of that but for whatever reason, they still haven't fixed it. Therefore due to the lock issue, we continually had problems getting in and out of our room, which was frustrating. The TV worked when we checked in, but then later that evening it just kept saying the modem needed reset, so we were unable to watch TV that evening when we wanted to just relax. The next morning it worked. It's called a bed-and-breakfast but there was no breakfast. I saw 4 of those small breakfast cereals on a shelf, but that was it. The pictures are a bit deceiving online. The inn is very basic and needs updating. We were told we could check in a bit early because our room was clean and ready, which we appreciated. Upon checking into our room, there was a man's shirt lying on the ground behind a chair, clearly visible so that made me feel the floor wasn't swept or vacuumed because you would have surely noticed that if you had. I felt it was pricey for being a B&B but not even offering breakfast, along with the fact that we had so many issues with the lock and TV. I don't consider myself picky, but $244 is a bit steep all things considered. We went with it because it was last minute and not a lot of options were available on a day's notice. If you are never going to be in your room at all, and are just looking for a comfy place to sleep, and desire nothing more then you will be fine. Just don't get room 4.
