Charming Room in Capitol Hill - Foxglove Inn Rm 6

The location and security of the property was the best. Very clean and neat and a very easy check in which I appreciated.

Not a dislike per se but I’d like to come back and maybe stay on a lower floor. I loved my room but I packed a lot and going up the stairs was a little hard.

Geen personeel gezien. Maar alles werd perfect onderhouden. Huis voelt als thuiskomen. In de buurt zijn veel daklozen, gedrogeerde mensen. Maar heb daar eigenlijk geen problemen mee gehad. Dicht bij een park en de metro T-line. Heel praktisch

I loved how near it was to so many places. My room was spacious, the amenities were great, and the luggage storage option was incredibly convenient for being able to enjoy time before I had to leave, without lugging my suitcase all over the city!

The only thing I think would be helpful for folks to keep in mind: the stairs up to the third floor are a bit steep. This wasn't an issue for me, but it may be for others.

I really enjoyed my 3-night stay. The location is fantastic—close to light rail and many restaurants/shops but on a less busy street. My room was really spacious and the bed was comfy, with different pillow options. WiFi worked well, even on the top floor. I didn’t cook in the communal kitchen but liked that there were snacks, milk, etc. available for guests. It was a good value.

As an older house, it had some noise transfer from nearby rooms and there was noisy shaking of objects/fixtures in the room when I walked around, but this was a very minor thing. Whatever the linens were washed in had way too strong of a scent for me, which doesn’t happen to me often, so that was the one significant downside of my stay.

Spacious and comfortable room on the top floor. Easy check-in and check-out process. We enjoyed using the common area on the main floor. Even though there were other guests, it was very quiet. The inn is a short walk to the main drag in Capitol Hill and central to other neighborhoods. Great stay!

Location was good. One train stop to Pike Place Market which was nice. Good walking distance to the Space needle as well.
