Cityview Retreat - 2-Bed Apartment - Free Parking

The cleaning staff were absolutely wonderful, and couldn't do enough for us. On the night we arrived they came out and brought us extra towels & 2 bottles of prosecco to apologise for any inconvenience when in fact, it was just a throwaway comment asking if there were any more towels in the apartment

If you are a single woman, or small group of women, do NOT stay here, the landlord is incredibly inappropriate and made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe staying here. Upon arrival Thursday evening, my friend noticed the beds were unstable, in particular the metal framed bed. When we raised this with the owner, we were given an apology and advised they would try to find new beds to bring out and assemble but it would be the next day. Friday afternoon, as my friend has just gotten out of the shower, we heard a key in the lock. Thankfully we had locked the door and kept the key in, otherwise the landlord/owner would've been able to just walk in to the apartment without warning. Once he was inside the property, he explained that 2 new beds and mattresses were on the way, but then proceeded to stay for THREE hours. During this time he told us about his partying days, looked in our wardrobes and drawers numerous times, made various innuendos about us bringing men back to the apartment to 'test out the new beds'. We then ended up helping to assemble the beds, hoovering & mopping the floor. Before leaving, the landlord said he would save our numbers as 'Sexy (my name)' and 'Sexy (friends name)', and said he would be back the next day to 'fix' a mirror that was slightly wonky, and a clock that was hanging lower on the wall - all issues that could have been fixed before our stay or after. I sent a message the next day to the 'company' who own the property, reiterating I was uncomfortable that the landlord arrived without notice, stayed so long, was inappropriate and that I did not want him to return. That night, we had to take the intercom off the hook as at around 3am we had someone repetitively ringing to be let in, and someone throwing stones at the window. As we did not know anyone else in the area, and nobody else knew where we were staying, we found this incredibly coincidental and in all honesty, terrifying.

Die Wohnung wirkte insgesamt nicht sehr sauber. Die Betten waren sehr unbequem, eines hat extrem laut gequietscht. Das Bad roch schimmlig und es waren auch schwarze Stellen zu sehen. Eine Renovierung inklusive Betten- und Matratzentausch würde der Wohnung sehr gut tun!
