Swallow Lodge - 3 Bedroom Lodge - Wisemans Bridge

Very cosy Very clean and new Great location Easy to park infront of cabin Good emails prior to stay

Hand-wash dispensers in bathrooms but no hand-wash inside. Lamps in bedroom but no light bulbs. Salt and pepper grinders in kitchen but no salt and pepper inside them. New coffee machine but wrong pods for the coffee. The decking had just been rebuilt and there were lots of screws left lying around on the decking and in the stones where you park. Luckily my car didn't get a puncture and my toddler didn't pick them up. Had an email saying key was in the key safe and the code for the key safe however there wasn't a key safe and had to speak to reception.

No facilities used. Location poor not where we thought, as address stated Wiseman’s Bridge (an area we know well)

Too far away from any amenities. Location too remote.

Great location if you are wanting to look round different beaches (Tenby, Saundersfoot etc). Staff were very friendly however if you wanted to spend time on the site there was just a large playing field at the back of the site for kids. Overall the lodge was exceptional and could not find one bad thing to say about it many thanks to the staff for being so helpful.

The Lodge was beautifully decorated throughout. It was spacious and clean with all the amenities included for a perfect stay. The bed was very comfy, the shower was hot, the wifi was good and a parking space included right outside. All in all a lovely stay, but a few little issues listed below could have helped to make it even more enjoyable.

It's a little far out for those that like a shop, pub, or restaurant within walking distance. Walking to Saundersfoot (45 mins) or Wisemans (25 mins) is downhill on the way there, but could be quite an effort on the way back up hill with narrow lanes! We ended up getting taxis to save the strenuous hike back. The lodge wasn't advertised as being on a touring campsite, so came as quite a surprise to be surrounded by caravans (although everyone was very friendly). We received an email before arriving telling us about the temperature of the hot tub (which I got quite excited about) however there wasn't one! Instructions on how to use the digital oven would have helped as it took us over an hour to work out how to cook a pizza. There was rattan furniture outside, but I couldn't find the cushions or pads anywhere - until about half an hour before we left when I stripped the bed, I found them underneath. Just a note saying where they were would have helped as the weather was beautiful whilst we were there so I could have made use of them!
