Cozy Studio Gem - Old San Juan - Near Attractions

the loft like space is insanely amazing and so are the hosts who were super responsive to the questions I had.

the noise level from the next door occupants (also Airbnb or booking.com) was unbearable. No offense to young people but we had a group of 6 or so drunk 30-year-olds who screamed on top of their lungs throughout the night and there is basically no physical separation between the two rooms - just a sliding metal panel which is completely open all around and give the impression that the next door neighbors are literally sharing our room. That was insane. There are also so crazy or drunk people screaming in the street in the middle of the night. if you like quiet - this is not for you. But if you like originality - this is amazing. The fact that the bathroom/toilet does not have a real door made it uncomfortable for the lady in our group.

Great location, super spacious.

We couldn’t turn off the lights of the kitchen/living area? or we just didn’t see the switch anywhere. No hot water? Kinda cold showered every time. Also it gets pretty loud at night. Specially weekends.

We had the worst experience! Shower curtain had mold, this apartment connects to another Airbnb where they can see through it , not very appropriate especially being 4 girls. We left on our first 2 hours there and the host does not want to refund us the money! Don't book you will regret it. Wasted half of our first day looking for another Airbnb. Oh the worst part the sheets were not cleaned, they were stained and smelled DISGUSTING.

Nothing was good but the location but it's San Juan every Airbnb will have a good location! Don't give yourself the headache we had by booking this stay.

Location was good, and staff friendly when chatted online. Very big space too!!

It looks like a warehouse.. I personally didn't like the style but this is subjective... there was no natural light and it was really huge which made me feel kinda like staying in a warehouse.. I think the hosts could actually try and provide the minimum, like coffee, water and snacks... the didn't have any of that.. I also didn't have warm water when tried to shower at 10pm most nights.. Overall it was an average stay but I would prefer a much lighter place.

I liked the open concept, however it is only great for couples or two people as there is no wall/privacy between the living room and bedroom also open bathroom. The location was also great.

****BED BUGS -BED BUGS *** 🤢 - the pillow smelled like old saliva, the shower curtains full of mold.- Water filtration everywhere in the walls - you can hear the noise of the outside as if it was inside the apartment.

Location is great! The apartment is very authentic and unusual.

There is NO AC ! And that's a huge disadvantage.

I'm not sure COZY is accurate, this rental is massive! Lots of space to spread out. Very unique. The location is exactly what we wanted and needed. The staff was easily accessible over messages and text and very responsive to any needs/issues. Much appreciated.

The outside noise can be disruptive at night, altho it is not in the heart of the bar area so it was not so bad.l. The wall to the next unit is thin and has cracks that let light in (one night the nextdoor light was on ALL night). There is a lack of "storage" for unpacking.

Very easy to collect the keys. The space was much larger than it looked in the photos. Very close to everything in the San Juan area. Close to restaurants, bars, and attractions.

Only downfall was that there wasnt a television in the event you wanted to watch some, but most of our time was spent taking in the sites of PR so it didnt negatively impact the experience.
