Oak Tree View - relax, reconnect, explore or work

The property has a small courtyard style garden which is nice as it is shade for a large part of the day. This was handy as I was there through the June heatwave. Elizabeth had left some essentials in the kitchen which was appreciated. There were plenty of nice areas to walk the dog within easy reach of the property and it felt safe to walk out at night. Communication was very good with Elizabeth via messages. I was able to book in earlier on my arrival day with a quick response to my message request. Fab shower room. Great shower.

Unfortunately I was unwell with a cold during my stay and spent more time in the property than expected. There was work being completed on what I believed was the owners home and it became quite noisy at times. Obviously if I had been out and about more this would not have been such an issue but maybe to be notified work was being carried out would have been advisable. There is a microwave but no oven, I didn’t read the description properly and took things that needed to be oven cooked so just be aware. The kitchen is otherwise very functional and well equipped.

I’m a vary tall man and I’m not that good with a double bed, having said that the bed was comfortable

Private and compact overnight accommodation. spotlessly clean. Lovely welcome pack, bread milk etc. Private parking, small, private outside area/court yard was lovely.

A small compact converted garage set in the garden of a main house. Very private with its own parking space and ideal for a short stay. Very thoughtfully designed making use of the limited space. We was allowed an early check in and was left to our own devices. Good shower and comfortable bed. There are also many walks you can do from here.

The whole place could do with a bit of a spring clean. We noticed cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, walls and some fittings. The skirting boards were also dirty. The duvet cover was also bitty but as we brought our own bedding with us this wasn’t a problem. Saying this the accommodation did suit our needs perfectly and we found it very comfortable.

Convenient location for Snetterton. Had all the basic facilities you’d need for an overnight stay.

Nothing we didn’t like. We initially struggled to find the property as we weren’t looking for a converted garage but managed to find it after looking at photos on here.

Quiet location, clean and quick walk to the local pub.
