We arrived in the evening and it was dark so a little difficult to see the numbers on the key lock to get into the property. The information to access our apartment was clear. The apartment had radiators on the wall but it was cold (air and flooring) on the first night. There was an electric oil heater in the kitchen but I was concerned about how close the heater was to the furniture and the trailing cord from where we could plug it in (especially with a child present). The heater wasn't making an impact on the temperature so I contacted the owner via the messages to see if the radiators worked. They turned the central heating on and this made things a lot more comfortable. The water pressure is very high which makes for a nice shower. Can be a bit problematic when using the sink as you can get splashed quite easily. The water is very hot and if it doesn't feel so then it just needs to be run a bit. There was no hooks in the bathroom to hang the towels which was a little difficult. The only hooks were in the hallway and this area was not warm enough to dry the towels out so it was difficult to use them more than once. We stayed 2 days so it wasn't an issue. There is nowhere suitable to drain the dishes that you use and the tea towel provided was not absorbant. We weren't actually sure if the refrigerator was on as the air temperature in the kitchen seemed cooler than inside there. The apartment was very quiet and earplugs were provided so that was good. The blinds don't really block the light in the morning so a sleep mask is useful for if you want to sleep in. The view from the apartment is rubbish but we didn't care because that is not what we chose it for. There was only one mirror which was difficult to use without sitting in front of it - standing you can't see your head. The apartment is not suitable for those with a certain disabilities and it would be good if that was clearer. There are steps up to the front...
