Best location in town, it is all on the doorstep.

Everything was exactly as described, lovely quiet little cottage, with enclosed garden for the dogs (2 westies). Easy walking distance to shopping areas and amenities and beach.

The TV was difficult to navigate, it's a smart TV, great for apps, but controller is difficult to use/register and there was no "live" TV channels. Travelled with an elderly parent & they just wanted "ordinary" TV. Hob was awkward to use. The touch buttons don't register touch easily. It's an infrared hob, I had to turn it off at the wall switch to turn it off.

We were self-catering with kitchen facilities to make the breakfast of our choice.

The smart TV was too smart for us!

A great little cottage within walking distance to central Ayr. We had a great stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone.

Loved the garden, & the cosy fire. Host left a bottle of wine, loaf of bread, pack of cookies, milk & cereal for us, which was a lovely touch, & nice to have there, for arriving, as we did not want to go back out, in the cold, arriving late, and not really any nearby shops, although we did do a big shop, the following day, by taxi

WiFi connection at times, but it was fine. Just had to press the remote control a lot of times, to finally get it working, on & off, at times. House was difficult to find. First taxi dropped us at wrong location, 2nd taxi got us there. Had someone else turn up at the door, saying they had booked the cottage, and they’d need to get the owner down. They didn’t return, so they obv had the wrong place
