Stunning Deck, Hot-tub view to Lake & Golf course

Do NOT book this property. The host pulled a full bait-and-switch on me. I booked this property and on the evening before my arrival, I contacted the property to ask about entry instructions into the home. I was told that the property was actually NOT available due to maintenance issues but they had assigned an alternate property to me. This is the night before my family was to arrive in San Antonio! (If they were legit, why didn’t they tell me as soon as they knew there were maintenance issues with the house??) I then said that I would be willing to look at the alternate property but if I wasn’t pleased, I would expect a full refund. The alternate property was disgusting. I immediately contacted the host to tell them I would not stay there and I wanted a full refund. I left voicemails but from that point forward, they never returned my calls. I had to contact Booking.com when I returned from my trip to demand a full refund. When Booking.com contacted the host to try to inquire about my request for refund, they were told by the host that “nothing was wrong on their end” and therefore no refund was necessary. I went back and forth both with Booking.com and the host to demand my refund. The host never returned my calls and only ever said via message that they were “investigating” my refund request. The host then messaged me finally and said that they were having trouble issuing the refund via my credit card, but if I could give them my Zelle account information, they could refund me via Zelle. That is SO sketchy and sounds like a scam/fraudster to me. Booking.com finally issued the refund. I will next advise Booking.com that they should NOT be working with this host as their actions throughout all of this was extremely suspicious.

We love the view in the back yard

Everything was perfect. We all really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great, and the view was beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Our host was very accommodating and quick to respond. Monica was terrific.

The only suggestion would be to furnish fireplace tools.

This house is located just 15 - 20 minutes from downtown San Antonio. It's a nice and quiet neighborhood and the fact that it has a golf course behind it means that you have a nice open view from the back deck and privacy at night for relaxing dips in the hot tub. It has everything one could need including a pool table, foosball table, video game, access to Netflix, Hulu etc...., a dishwasher, large refrigerator etc... It was a great place to stay.

The curtains on the windows are shear affording little privacy at night.

Fans were a bit confusing to use and door for master bedroom did not close or lock
