Farina No8, 3 bedroom Sea view apartment sleeping 7 guests

The location was amazing really close to the sea front,and a short walk to the amusements. The apartment was nice and big.

They were a couple of niggly bits ie airfryer wasn't working (this didn't effect us at all). There was a mix up when we first got there as we were given a upstairs apartment and my mums got mobility issues but this was soon sorted out,there are 4 double beds and my 2 older boys would of needed to share a bed so 1 ended up on the couch but these things can easily be worked around and not something that would stop me from booking again.

Everything. When we arrived the exterior of the property was poor. Badly in need of a freshen as it was the worst in the row. Bin bags littered the foot of the stairs and empty food containers were left opened by the bins. Initially contacted the owners to ask why hadn’t all the beds made up. Given a lame and reason; 2 adults and 2 children which meant a double bed made up and 2 single beds in the other large room which had 3 beds in it. I purposely booked a 3 bedroom apartment because there was me and my teenage daughter and my niece and her small son. Only two rooms made up and then we looked around and realised the condition of the property. We opened Flat 8 door. Greeted by a very cold blast of air from the double bedroom. The double glazing in this room and the living room was shot as it was cloudy. There was a huge stain on the windowsill and on closer inspection noticed that mould had recently been painted over. The walls in the kitchen were mouldy. Wall paper barely clung to the walls and the lintel over the window is on the verge of collapsing and had cracked paint on the wood part. My niece went to get a glass but it was filthy and no washing up liquid or any cleaning materials were anywhere on the premises. I thought in this day and age places like this didn’t exist. No soap in the bathroom. 45 minutes later we left, refusing to stay in such poor conditions.

The view was amazing. The beds were comfortable & clean. The apartment was very spacious & we had room for all of our luggage. It was so close to the beach & the amusements you could have a better place to stay.

The only set back was the stairs. We knew we would have an upper floor apartment but had no idea it would be so many floors above ground level. This wouldn't have been a problem if there had been a lift but there wasn't. My son has a very bad knee & the stairs were winding up up & up. He was in agony. Myself & my husband also struggled. The cleanliness of the apartment when we arrived was average. Clean enough but there was a strange stain on the sofa & a few of the glasses etc in the cupboards were not clean. I also had to get the Hoover out to get some spider webs off the ceiling & window in the small bedroom as my granddaughter saw a spider & freaked out.

Amazing location, had the beach on our doorstep and a very short walk to the fair. The bedrooms were nice and had a good amount of storage, the living room was comfy and had an amazing view! Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay again!

The sea view was Beautiful & close to everything we needed

The beds kept moving from the wall. My son & his friend found bugs in the double bed. My double bed & the 2 singles were clean but the room smelled bad of off fish as found a crabs leg in the draw & sand was all over the cube wardrobe. I cleaned the rooms when I got there as looked like it hadn’t been cleaned too well at all. And my friend slept in the single bed & is covered in bites all over her legs so she’s not happy. Only 1 toilet roll in each bathroom used & no soaps or anything like even little welcome ones. The toilet was hard to flush & the showers one didn’t work no hot water so all had to use the other shower. No curtains in the main room apart from one window. No dishcloth or anything to wash the dishes. No spare bin liners or hoover to clean the carpets. And I had an asthma attack half way up the 8 flights of stairs. The host was lovely but we were supplied with 7 towels for 8 of us when we booked Fri-Sun & was told more would be dropped off & never got them. We paid the extra £50 as originally had 2 more ppl but my daughter & partner couldn’t make it. So £355 & really wasn’t worth it tbh but we had a lovely family weekend that’s made up for it. Also had to be out for 10am which is hard especially when we didn’t arrive until Friday evening.
