Lovely very quiet meats all ur needs

In truth the house is comfortable, clean and modern. The issues with this listing are not relating to the house itself...

Firstly it's in Ballintra, not Rossnowlagh. Stated as two bathrooms - it's 1 bathroom with 1 additional toilet. One of the beds is so squeaky it'll wake everyone up, not just the people sleeping in the bed! But the big issue for all of us with this house is with the management of it.Let me explain... About two days before you check in, you get asked about the arriving guests and purpose of your stay. You are told this detailed information is essential. Next, a very dodgy looking link asking you for a 300€ deposit gets sent. This comes through bookings messaging service, but if you don't respond quick enough for their liking, a UK number will then send a what's app. In our case, this text claimed that they hadn't heard anything from us at all, despite receiving the former guest details and reasons for our trip (felt a bit unnessecary). All of this correspondence is nameless by the way... It makes you incredibly suspicious of being a scam. I decided to call the number listed, with no answer. A 3rd UK number now enters the frame to return the call to me, and in fairness a very polite lady explains the situation; I need to pay the deposit to get the access code for the key lockbox at the house. We paid - we are okay to pay deposits in general, but this manner just felt stoic and odd. In truth, prior reviews were the only way we actually gained any confidence to the legitimacy of the request. We were staying for two nights. On the second day we got another message detailing check out and asking for an acknowledgement to the text. And also to further let them know when we had actually left the next day. The check out instructions... Beds must be stripped and laundry left by the washing machine, rubbish walked 150metres down the street to the bins, switch on the dishwasher. Oh and be out by 10am.. Any additional cleaning and the deposit is now at risk...

I liked that the house was new and clean.

The kitchen needed to be better equipped, it needed a few more pots and cooking utensils for self catering. This is easily rectified.

Cleanliness in house

Not as advertised with only 1 bathroom instead of 2. I had paid over € 400 more because of the misleading information and it was not in Rossnowlagh as advertised being 6 km away from the destination expected. Also garden was very overgrown with weeds and windows were dirty. Kitchen had very little suitable equipment for oven cooking. Bathroom was slippy with no bath mat so not suitable or very safe.
