"This is a two star hotel that does all the basics very well: don't expect four star luxury."

The room was small, but clean and well serviced. the bathroom small but recently refurbished and completely adequate. Hotel was quiet at night. Continental breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location - in a quiet square but right in the middle of things, lots of restaurants in the surrounding streets. The rooms are very clean, recently refurbished and comfortable. Lovely staff, very friendly, welcoming and helpful

The only thing I struggled with was having to haul luggage up a flight of stairs to the lift (I’m 76, reasonably fit but not as strong or agile as I once was) and the lift is tiny. Seriously, I had a carry on suitcase and small back pack and had to slide them into one half of the lift and then press myself into the other half with my back against the wall, and I am not overweight. I did see the funny side of this.
