Casa Vacanza Icaros, Ortigia hictoric center, 200 mt from the beach

Location was perfect. Loved the ambience and style.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Very nice authentic historic building with spacious rooms, very nice kitchen and bath rooms. Very close to city, sea etc.

3 weeks in Italy so far , the best accommodation yet on our travels, and we have stayed in some fab places. Great shower, 2 large bathrooms, in a great spot in Ortigia. All you could need, gorgeous mid century furniture, in a beautiful historic building.

All was perfect

Wonderful spacious apartment perfectly located. The furniture and the books/Vhs/Cd s /Magazines and the decorations were all a pleasant surprise. You could spend hours looking through them. Iron, washing machine, cutlery, plates, bottle opener... Name anything one could need.It was there.

The single drawback was that the 2nd bathroom had a bathtub with nothing preventing water from spilling outside and no drain on the floor. Every time you showered you had to be extra careful and still mop a good amount of water from the floor.

Very spacious apartment, very clean facilities, great location near the castle. We had a fabulous stay!

The noise from the street can be quite loud at night, so make sure to properly close the windows and bring some earplugs!

the outside noise. A lot of cars and mopeds drive past until the early hours, then bottle recycling and bin collection started early morning. A drain outside was broken and made a huge noise, although this was not the property’s fault. More pillows would’ve also been nice, but I’m being picky!
