Took night person 15 minutes to come to the front.
Hotel has been shut down by the city and are operating as a scam. There were no cars in the lot and no one on the premises when we came to check in

We got to this hotel and it was completely abandoned!! No explanation or apologies from Hotels.com or the hotel.
Reservation booked and paid. Received a phone call from the property owner stating the hotel was not yet opem and therefore my reservation was cancelled. This is now day 8 with no refund. Property manager states he never received a payment. So Expedia has the money paid to book a hotel that is not open. How does this happen?
Hotel appeared new. Shoddy work. Was offered breakfast - no coffee provided and breakfast consisted of granola bars. Water pressure in shower was terrible. Shower valve was put in backwards. Staff couldn’t relay messages into which cost me three days of downtime while truck was in shop.
