Getaway Nr Midtown, DT, TSU Hot tub Game Room

I loved how close the property was TSU. It took us 4 minutes to get my daughter to campus! It was also close to a lot of wonderful restaurants.

I recently stayed at this property, and, unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Upon check-in, I noticed that the property had not been thoroughly cleaned. There were spider webs in the corners, crumbs and hair on the mantel, and even bugs in the freezer. The bathroom also had hair by the tub, which was quite concerning. I reached out to the property representative to see if we could switch to another accommodation that could fit our group of eight, but unfortunately, there was nothing available. She did offer to send someone to clean the property, but given our travel schedule, we opted for a later cleaning time the next day at 1230.. However, when we returned at 6 PM, the cleaning had not been done, and I had to take care of some of the mess myself. Additionally, I was not informed that there was another tenant in a separate unit sharing the same driveway, which was a bit inconvenient and unexpected. Overall, the stay did not meet the expectations, especially in terms of cleanliness and communication. I hope the host takes these comments into consideration to improve future guest experiences.

There was a miss communication with the early arrival request, evidently the message was not conveyed and I spent 2 hours waiting on the front porch fit the cleaning crew to finish cleaning. Also the hot tub had debris in and around it. We asked the cleaners for a broom to do up the side patio to the house. We were disappointed that we couldn't use the hit tub as it was one of the features we really wanted to use. The front door does not lock when close which is very dangerous! We had a couple people walk inside the house on their own, claiming to sell t-shirts!, it was very alarming as only 1 person was inside the house at the time!
