Galkaduwa360 Villa

Very clean and new! Very big room with balcony and almost 360 view just from the room! You can literally see both sunrise and sunset! And there is a rooftop with tables and chairs. And monkeys sometimes. Great shower! Hot water, good water pressure! Very big and comfortable bed! There are AC and fan! There is kitchen because the owner lives here as well. He is very kind and always seems happy. He would message me to let me know when the monkeys come to the house 😂 He also offered washing machine for me to use because I stayed them for 4 nights! Location is out of busy town center, but only 10 min by tuktuk within 300lkr. Or you can also walk 5 min down the street to catch the local bus for 30lkr. There is a good restaurant “the chef corner” just 2min walk and the food there is really good! Next to it there is a fruit store and a bakery. Very convenient. I also found an Ayurvedic doctor in the area and got a massage. If you are going to Sigiriya by car, you don’t need to go through town.

It lacks a bit of social aspect compared to a hostel. But the owner is happy to chat with you anytime.

Our bicycle journey around Sri Lanka has a stop in a Kandy too. A city that should not be missed on your Sri Lanka trip as also a place called Galkaduwa360 Villa in the middle of city with a 360 view an all of it. What makes place even more home like is an owner Susantha which is always ready for help and conversation, good company and fun. So that is probably also the one more reason why we prolonged our one night stay in to two nights. The place is cosy, very clean and modern arranged. With A/C, great WI-FI, 360 city view and a lot more. Don,t miss Kandy and take a rest in heaven's place Galkaduwa360 Villa. Highly reccomended by Gregor and Staš.

Stay in the Villa was a really special time, we really relaxed and relaxed because the rooms are super comfortable and above all - these views - they are visible: Knucles mountain, city, forest from every side of the room - literally it is a 360 ° view and in addition there is a roof with this wonderful view and a kitchen and common space. mattress very comfortable bedding towels furniture Bathroom - everything new clean and fragrant. But above all this place gives a unique charm by its wonderful owner who is an exceptional person is really very nice and Friendly - we spent an evening together cooking delicious food and drinking local whiskey :) We will have wonderful memories of this stay and will definitely come back. Beautiful house.The owner was great and helpful great views of the hills surrounding Kandy There was a steep climb to his house if you came on foot.. The tuktuk could go up it,

Differnt like in Sri Lanka the pictures doesn't show You how great is the place. Clean, comfortable, nice smell, european standard. Great working air condition, HOT WATER. Even that the place is difficult to find don't worry about - the owner will guide You from the orientation point - shop. You can reach the point with the car even if it's upway. The owner is really good person. He will tell You about all wat's worth to see around. He will help You with the organisation transport without extra charge fir him. There is an area with kitchen, living room with sofas and tv for use for everybody. But the most important thing is the view. It's realy 360. We can adwise the room with the big windows on the corner where You can enjoy the sunrise from the bed. The host, the wiev, quality and price makes this place the best to stay in Kandy for more than one night.

Everything was wonderfull. The view from the window and from terase was really beautiful. The owner was very helpful, friendly and gave us advice right away. if we come back to Sri lanka, we will come again. Thank you!
