It’s a very well fitted-out apartment - new furnishings, a very nice kitchen, very attractive. The location was fantastic.

There was no communication/contact with the owner. He buzzed us into the apartment, told us where to find the key, and that was it. A second attempt got us parking information (but not the fact that we couldn’t park there on the weekend or where else to park). A piece of paper gave us the wifi info, but no information about the apartment or the town, checkout info, what to do with trash, etc. Not good. We rented a 2 bedroom, but the 2nd bedroom was locked so I don’t feel we got what we paid for. There were a few issues with the apartment. It was very cold. Mid-May in Italy, so the law doesn’t allow heating, no matter what the actual weather (50s and rainy). So the owner couldn’t do much, but extra bed coverings, rugs/carpets, or heavier curtains could have helped. There was almost no water pressure on the 2nd floor (bathroom sink and shower). Also, there were no rugs, nothing on the walls, etc. so the whole place was an echo chamber. Extra towels would have been nice, since it was too cold for anything to dry.

Ideal location in a beautiful town. Great base from which to explore the area. Very roomy, nicely presented and comfortable for two!

Queries raised by messaging the host were not answered promptly or satisfactorily. We were left to figure out how to get the boiler to provide hot water and heating, (it was doing neither when we arrived, through to the next day). Our feedback that the bath towels smelled damp/not properly aired and our request for replacements wasn't dealt with satisfactorily. Impresion we had was that the host isn't in the neighbourhood to sort out issues like this.

This is an entire house. Perfect for a family of 4 or two couples. The village is beyond amazing, so much history and beauty. The place is very clean and spaceious and has a up market feel to it.

The street is almost deserted, but if a car passes by it can be noisy. Parking is possible but needs care. Parking in front of the house is forbidden.
