No breakfast is offered which was not an issue. The kettle was in good working order and there were enough tea bags/coffee sachets and milk for my 1 night. Location is slightly out of the way but still only a 12-15 minute walk from the main rail station.

What could have been better is if either Booking.com or the follow up email from the hotel advised that you would get a code for both the outside door and your room in order to enter the property. I got into the property because someone had earlier left the door open and upon reaching the room there was no information as to how to enter it. I eventually found a picture on one of the rooms below which explained how to get the keypad to display. I then had to work out what the code would be and only upon accessing my mobile I noticed a WhatsApp message which gave me 2 codes for the room and the front door. 1 coat hanger provided in the wardrobe. The shower in the shared bathroom I could not use as the shower tray was full of water and appeared to be blocked. The bathroom sink taps are too short to allow proper access to the flow and tend to cause water spillage as the water coming out tends to run along the back of the sink as it does not fully clear that area.

The bed cover and pillow were very comfortable, plenty tea and coffee and toilets very clean.

The mechanism of the shower was a bit difficult to turn not too cold or not too hot.

Position of hotel was nicely situated, far enough away from the noise of town but still close enough to walk to the centre

All a bit shabby

Good location for what I was doing.

Having to put a code in for the front door and room, especially after a night out.
