Luxury Hanok Stay Onyou

We loved having modern amenities in a traditional construction. The place was really beautiful and comfortable, hosts were responsive to our questions, and everything was spotless. When we left the property, we were in a great neighborhood, near landmarks and public transit.

It took a minute for our jet lagged brains to figure out the nuances of the door code, but we got there eventually.

Such a beautiful space. I didn’t want to leave. Bed was very comfortable. Courtyard was well kept. Floor felt heated?! It blew us away. Loved the mirror design in the bathroom so that two could get ready at the same time. I just kept looking in awe at the space. Heaps of really cute eateries and shopping just a short walk down the way.

I have to think REALLY hard to find something I didnt like… but! If I did try to find something it would be that we couldn’t figure out how to use the toilet. The buttons we were instructed to use weren’t working, so we used the buttons directly on the side of the toilet. Also, near the foot bath and in the projector room was a spider and some Mosquito Hawks. Nothing we couldn’t manage.

場所が分かりにくい

El Hanok es precioso y muy practico. Tienes todo lo necesario para estar cómodo, ademas de estar disfrutando de un Hanok tradicional. La cama cómoda a mas no poder. El vecindario super tranquilo.

El tema para dejar maletas es bastante poco practico. El check in es super tarde y el check out super pronto, y no te dan opción a guardar las maletas. Mis maletas antes del check in se quedaron en un patio sin control ninguno. Ellos decían que no pasaría nada, pero la mala sensación la tuve hasta entonces. Y te dicen claramente que dos maletas solo, por suerte a nosotros nos cogieron 4 porque era solo nosotros. Pero para lo que vinieron detrás ya pusieron el cartel de que solo aceptaban dos. Y para el check out ya ni esa opción tienes. Así que seguí viajando por Corea y los últimos días de Seul cogí in hotel, ya que me guardaban las maletas sin problemas. Después, no tienes desayuno ni ningún Amenities a pesar de lo que pagas. No es carísimo, pero tampoco el colmo de lo barato. Ademas de que me ha parecido mal que no pasaran a reponer ni el papel ni las toallas. Ya ni hablemos de limpiar. Por suerte lo mantuvimos limpio. Me planteo volver, pero espero para que mejore esos puntos. Ya que me he hospedado en otros Hanok en Corea y el trato fue exquisito en comparación.

It was such a beautiful and peaceful experience. After a long day of walking it was nice to soak our feet in the private bath house. The bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve experienced in Seoul and we appreciated that the suite had a freezer and fridge! The size of this property was so incredibly spacious. It was a proper getaway. Highly recommend staying here !

That is my second stay in this property and it’s amazing! Perfect location (very center of Bukchon, but in a quiet street), clean, cozy and the whole ambiance is just great!
