Lomas de Mena 6 - Apartamento Ático - TERRAZA - PARKING GRATIS

1) Location - Fabulous We Loved the location. Near the beach - (2min walk), near supermarkets- a Dia (2min walk) cafes, shops, buses and trains so you could explore the area (which we have been to many many times before) - Mijas, Benalmadena Pueblo , Malaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella, Gibraltar. 2) 3 Terraces - Great views a) We loved the large terrace immediately outside the living room - great to sit and have breakfast relax with a glass of wine / coffee. And it's great you could see your car space - we felt Secure/Safe b) A terrace out from the bedroom - you could see the sea - it was amazing. c) The rooftop terrace was spacious - excellent sea/mountain views, private - a good clothes line which was great to get washing dry/freshen up and plenty of seating - table, loungers and comfy satees- just Brilliant 4) A washing machine - great for long stay (a 15min wash wonderful to freshen up clothes). 5) We had an abundance of hot water - great when 4 adults need to shower and the water power / loo flush was brilliant. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

There were a few maintenance jobs (eg. Curtain rail in lounge) that, if attended to would turn this gem of an apartment into a little palace. The kettle didn't work when we arrived, but they brought a brand new one to us 👍 There are a few steps but we knew that before we booked - (it's in the description). The thing for me was - it is advertised as 2 bathrooms, but it is not. I did try to clarify exactly what was in place before l arrived and was advised that everything was per the photos - it is. There is a full Excellent - bathroom on the 1st floor opposite the bedrooms with a bath and really powerful shower above it, two windows (one opens to allow steam disperse) a wonderful modern mirror with built in lighting above the large sink unit. This was a lovely spacious bathroom. There was a toilet and sink on the ground floor but Not a full bathroom. My son has MS - which is why l tried to clarify the bathroom facilities available before arrival - we managed, but l think the description should reflect truthfully what is there. The apartment had all the basics - kitchenware, dishes etc - it didn't oversupply on cleaning etc but in all honestly- l dont expect the supplies we provide for ourselves when we are at home - that's what the supermarkets close to hand are there for (washing power to wash our clothes / toiletries - l never expect the apartment owner to provide these - fine if they do but ok if just enough to get you settled in) Having said all this , we had a marvellous, fun, enjoyable, comfortable say at this apartment- which is in an amazing location (to me, that's it's main selling point)

The apartment was fantastic for families. Such a great space. Including 3 terraces. With a roof top terrace providing incredible sea views.

The apartment could do with some updating. Balcony doors don't lock. Needs more teatowels and cleaning cloths. Sockets could do with maintenance It would be helpful if it stated that there is a big hill to walk fromocal amenities and quite a lot of stairs on arrival at the property, especially when travelling with elderly people or incapable people.

The property was very clean. Kitchen well equipped with oven,microwave,stove top,toaster & washing machine. Beds are very comfortable. Air con in both bedrooms. The roof terrace was brilliant with enough space for 4 adults to sit comfortably in both sun & shade. About a 20 minute walk to shops & restaurants. The walk into the area does involve a steep hill so can take longer to get out & about. Contact with the host/manager was excellent.

There are a lot of steps to this property so visitors with mobility issues may struggle. It is not a two bathroom as stated. The property has a full bathroom upstairs & a toilet downstairs.
