The location is idyllic. This beautiful home away from home is right in the centre of Moutsouna, a beautiful unspoilt village on the east coast of Naxos. It is peaceful and attractive. You are right beside three lovely seafood restaurants but they are quite at night and by day. Most of all you look out at the sea , the fishing boats and you have a beautiful view of the unique and iconic structure in the harbour which was used to load emery from the mines above the village onto boats which then transported it far and wide indays gone by. It’s Wonderful that this has been preserved and it gives Moutsouna a special character. There are many beautiful beaches close by with crystal clear water. Moutsouna is a special place for those who search for peace and quiet in unspoiled surroundings. The people of the village are friendly and welcoming as are the hosts who gave me a lift from across the island to the apartment. This was very much appreciated and the journey there was enjoyable and informative. Thank you Martha and Freddy. If you come to Moutsouna and particularly if you stay here you will not be disappointed and you will certainly have a lovely time.
