Swan House - 5 x Executive Apartments - Central Bawtry

Location was great, walking distance to restaurants, next door to a nice bar. Very clean. Seemed like a very safe neighborhood.

Light by entrance door was burned out. We stayed a week, and only 1 day's worth of toiletries was supplied. Washer and dryer are available, but no soap. No hairdryer. Pots and pans were all rusted or teflon flaking off. Stove was hard to control, pressing the touch sensitive controls took multiple tries. No coffee maker, just hot water maker and instant coffee. Only one side of the bed had a nightstand, really needs a nightstand on both sides of the bed.

The apartment was warm on arrival and was clean.

The key to the hallway entrance probably could do with replacing, as with returning back at night, it took us over 10 minutes to wiggle the key with a very hard false to gain access 😑. Also the property is advertised with parking. We were able to park in the courtyard but this was having to block someone else in, who was staying within Swan House, the courtyard does only have the capacity to take two cars, and all the on street parking nearby was full, so maybe this should be addressed as no parking or first come first served parking.

We stayed with our 8month old whilst attending a family wedding at Bawtry Hall. The hosts were prompt replying to queries. The apartment was nicely fitted out, spacious and quiet and was warm even in December. There was even room in the bedroom for the travel cot and still have space to move around! Good location to walk to venue and high street.

Only minor issue was only having one set of keys.

STAY HERE! This apartment is perfectly located for shopping, food, drinks, or the races. There is also a supermarket just at the top of the street for supplies. It's modern, very clean, and impressive for the price. Previously we stayed at a well known hotel just around the corner and this is better in every way.

We checked everywhere and the only thing missing during our stay was a hair dryer. The living room temperature was a little cold and we couldn't adjust it, but a large comfy throw was supplied. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and we will definitely stay here every time we visit. It's the best in Bawtry!

Close to everything in Bawtry.

No tea or coffee bags. No soap in the bathroom. No name on the house - don’t advertise Swan House when there is no name outside.

Pub next door , nice and clean , 2 smart tvs nice shower. Hasnt had pets in there .
