"Pricey and practical."

Spacious with everything we needed. The place had character. AC in the bedroom. Warm shower. Secure parking for our motorcycles at the premises. Within walking distance of downtown.

The place is old and run down. The neighbourhood seemed a bit dodgy - but not unsafe. (It made me appreciate having the motorcycles parked in a locked garage).

Proximity to carnaval but far enough for quiet

Melo in summer is very hot/ humid. Ventilation is not optimal at this location. The spiral staircase is not meant for older people, "big boned" people or luggage,

"All was great"

The location is very comfortable, the host met us with warmth, the check out was easy

It was a heavy rain and there was a little bit of water in the dining room. The rest of the rooms didn’t have this problem :)
