"Beautiful room in great location"

Amazing view of the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia and associated basilica from our windows. Quiet at night. Very clean. Nicely decorated. A great value; reasonably priced. Just a block from one end of the main shopping and restaurant street. Close all major sights. The sights at Classe do require some sort of transportation, as does the Mausoleum of Theodoric. A little too far for us to walk from the train station when we had luggage (due to lots of cobblestones) but getting a cab was easy in both directions. FYI This is a large house that can be rented entirely or as a set of independent rooms with a common area. There is no reception desk so there is no one onsite.

Hand off of keys and copying of passport info were more time consuming than expected. Has a set stairs up to a private rooftop space but the view from there is limited and it needed cleaning. We didn't spend much time there anyway.

The location is excellent!! Alessandro was extremely helpful and communicative, which made for an easy arrival, stay and departure. He recommended a great restaurant. We were enchanted by the proximity and easy access to all of the beautiful historical sites.

Pretty much nothing! The coffee maker was a bit temperamental, but we were so close to cafes, it didn’t matter.
