A Casa do Olival - Barragem Castelo do Bode-Tomar

This was effectively a home stay. The people were lovely, the house was very well equipped for self catering, the location was good and it was very peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay very much. we loved the beautiful surroundings, the charm of the home and yard. the owners were very accommodating and friendly. The room was spacious and lovely. The bathtub: heaven!! It was also great to have access to a full kitchen. There was a fan in the room that kept us cool in the evening and night.

The bed was hard. We slept OK but our friend who has some back trouble would have had a hard time.

No food offered but huge kitchen with all appliances for guest's use

Parking is a little bit tight and separate bathroom not as good as en suite

Very nice host, great location and an incredible house. The house has parking.

The garden is really nice.

The location, there is nothing around. The decoration, vintage house, not practical, too much stuff, feels like being in a museum. We booked a room with private bathroom but the bathroom was outside of the room.
