Hive Ella - Hostel

Hive has a great atmosphere, and attracts a friendly crowd. It’s really well located, and Gihan the owner is very kind and helpful!

I was expecting a few more organised activities, given other reviews - the cooking class and dinner on my first night were great, but there wasn’t really anything on my second day. I may have just been there across a quiet weekend!

The hostel is simply fantastic. The owner is incredibly warm-hearted and organizes something every day. Sometimes it's a trip to a waterfall, a hike, or a night of billiards in town. You can also suggest activities, and he makes it happen. The family dinner and cooking class were amazing. All of this makes the hostel super social, creating awesome friendships and memories. It’s clean, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is great, too. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and it was hard to leave. We’d come back anytime. Thanks for an awesome experience!

Easygoing place close to town but a bit hidden, so the music won’t bother you at night. Family dinners and cooking class are so much fun and easy to join in. Owner Gihan makes sure you will have a good time by organizing and initiating different trips and things you can explore in the area!

Beautiful hostel and lovely vibe! Perfect place to meet people when you're traveling alone. There are many nice activities organized, like dinners together and a free cooking class. There is also a WhatsApp group for guests, to make sure everyone is included. Would definitely go here again!

Great hostel, very social, and loved the cooking class/family dinner. The host was so accommodating with booking taxis, dinners, or activities for us.
