I loved that Adela Lopez helped us finding an accommodation since Booking .com had failed to book our reservation with her. She came to town with us and stayed with us until we were able to book 8 nights at the Loft Hotel. I cannot say enough about this lady's integrity and care. That's why I gave her full marks above, even though we weren't able to stay with her. to none of her doing. Booking.Com did not book our night with her even though they charged us, and they also did not pay her.
I did not like how Booking.com messed up our holiday, actually and to be precise, our honeymoon. This experience cost us an additional CDN $ 400 as the hotel fees were higher than Adela Lopez's fee. I think that it would be only fair if Booking.com would reimburse us, as it is completely their doing. I also did not care that I was not able to contact booking.com whether by phone (no # avail.), nor by e-mail (all of my e-mail did not send because all of their e-mail addresses were no-reply, just terrible. They also never contacted me about this fiasco.
