Nice & restful with great views from the balcony. Plenty of cafes & restaurants nearby & nice promenade along the coast. Agent (Macronesian) was very responsive to our queries.

The instructions for access is misleading - front door electronic access to the building was not functional [meant to be via wifi electronic pass code]. However, this was non-existent as the door lock was entirely manual/mechanical (meaning it has to be opened by hand as there was no electronics attached). So it got increasingly stressful trying to gain access when we first arrived, quite late in the evening. After being stuck for about 30 mins, luckily another resident came out & he let us in. Once inside, we managed to gain access to the apt via the wifi procedure, with help from agent on the phone.

Excellent front line location with good choice of restaurants on the promenade and two supermarkets around the corner. Bus terminal and taxi rank a few minutes walk away. Overall a great base for a quiet relaxing holiday.

The view was fantastic. The town is small and quiet

The apartment is very small. The bedroom is at the back of the property with only 2 tiny windows. This lack Of ventilation made it impossible to sleep there. I requested a fan after 1 night. The owner was unco-operative, unsympathetic and unhelpful, and wouldn't fulfil the request until after we checked out. (4 days later). We had 4 nights sleeping on the very uncomfortable sofa bed. Pillows were very flat, not enough coathangers, and tiny poor quality towels. These were all requested after 1 night. Only towels were provided. The washing machine had mold inside, and unusable.
