The property is beautiful with a really pretty garden, stunning decor, a sense of old world charm and the vibe of the whole place is great. It’s well maintained and extremely picturesque. The staff were polite and prompt. They helped us book cabs on all the days. It was a comfortable stay. There is an adorable dog and some puppies at the moment which made our stay even more amazing.

The breakfast spread was disappointing. When you are booking a property like Elgin it’s normal to expect a more wholesome breakfast. The options were minimal and caters more to a certain kind of tourists. We faced power cut a couple of times specifically in our room every time we turned the heater and the electric kettle on. I suppose it’s a sign of power overload. Maybe needs some attention in this department. But every time we informed the staff they immediately took action and solved it.

The facilities and the hotel in itself was wonderful and cozy.

One side of the hotel rooms have magnificent views of the garden and the mountain. However, the other side faces the road and the wall. Unfortunately, I got the room on the other side that was noisy because of the road and no great view. I would advise guests to confirm if you can get the view first. If not, it could be a huge miss for the price you pay.
