4U Rhodes

We had a wonderful time at 4U Rhodes. We stayed for 6 nights and were greeted by Katerina’s breakfast every morning. She was warm, welcoming and made us smile each day. The breakfast was a mixture of hot and cold food, as well as juice, cold water and Greek coffee. The care and attention she paid us was just wonderful. We stayed in the mezzanine room, which was the perfect size for two friends. We had our own space. The decor was in keeping with the area and the room and bathroom were both very clean. We had clean towels most days and the bed was always made when we returned in the evening. The courtyard and rooftop terrace were a great bonus, as we had a separate space to relax in at the end of a long day. The hotel is tucked away in the back streets of the old town, so it is very quiet. The main shops and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away, which is very convenient.

The hotel was charming, located on the outskirts of the old town. The room came with all the amenities and was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and the morning breakfast was abundant and delicious - would recommend staying here

Easy to find residence within city walls - get dropped at St Francis gate and walk just 200 m . Great hospitality from Katerina. Thank you .

Cosy rooms which look exactly as described, come with freebies like a shaving kit, dental kit and makeup wipes which was nice and in a great, safe location!

Everything was great, only thing to bare in mind is that some of the hosts don’t speak English :)

Location within the old town of Rhodes was excellent. The style of the property was authentic and had character (very appropriate for the location). The lady who served breakfast (and cleaned/serviced room) was most accommodating and delightful.

Carrying heavy suitcases over the cobblestone as cars cannot enter the old town (was only 200 metres from the closest gate) - easier if a small luggage trolley was available?

Great breakfast with fresh bread croissants and jam and honey. Cooked sausages, eggs, cheese juice and greek coffee + yoghurt. Couldn’t want anything more. Property location was convenient and the outdoor sitting area was relaxing . The staff were fantastic

No common area or washing machine

This property is located very close to the Saint Athanasios Gate which makes arriving and leaving very easy. It is tucked away in a side street and there is no noise from neighbours. The included breakfast was very good and filling, definitely get it. We got travel to and from the airport arranged with the property, a little on the expensive side, but the driver was helpful and on time. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the property and thought we were the only ones there for the 3 nights. We would gladly stay here again in the future. This place was very good value for what is included and the location.

Rhodes old town is not accessible by vehicle, you have to drag your bags across cobble stones or carry them. The distance from the gate is about 3-400 metres. If you are older or have lots of bags this could be difficult. Consider this when planning on where to stay. The shower had poor drainage and we had to constantly turn it off to drain before continuing with our shower. There were also drain flys that need to be fixed which we told the cleaner about, but nothing happened. If these 2 issues are fixed, we would have no complaints about the property itself. Overall, we were very happy. These are just 2 items for the property to fix.

The accommodation itself was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, but what truly sets this place apart is the warmth and friendliness of the hosts.
