Casa Giulio - A due passi dal centro

After it had been cleaned, it was a nicely set up apartment with some good features eg washing machine, fridge, security apartment, mops to mop up the floors after it flooded from rain water seeping through the window. The wifi worked: the modem was near the entrance.

It is nowhere near the centre. We took a tram from the station. It wasn't cleaned when we arrived, and I had to call the manager who had it done many hours after we arrived. The lift didn't work for us as we weren't given the remote control required. The air con in the kitchen area didn't work. There weren't adequate cups to make cups of tea and no capsules to be able to use the coffee machine. And worst of all, when it rained, it gushed through the closed high up bathroom window, flooding the whole bathroom floor which I had to mop up, and also though a closed window into the kitchen/sitting area under our sofa bed where we were to sleep. It was very stressful for us dealing with this. We told the manager who was going to arrange someone to fix the windows. It was possible to see there was previous water damage so we decided it was too unpleasant to stay there and left after one night.

The apartment itself is comfortable for up to four people, we found the bed and sofa bed comfortable. It is relatively centrally located and close to a great fresh food market. Also lots of diverse food options and more authentic local experience. Host was very responsive once contact was made. We also met the neighbours who were very friendly.

-If I were travelling as a solo female I would not have felt safe here. Directly out the front of the apartment people loiter, and most of the time the main door to the apartments was left open. -Further, it is extremely loud at night, partly due to street noise and largely do to people doing what sounded like some sort of construction at all hours of the night and into the early morning. -Curtains in the bedroom would be appreciated, especially since you can see people walking past your door late at night through the glass door which is less than a meter from the bed. -Would have preferred to receive instructions to enter the property earlier. The instructions were sent on our day of arrival.

Very nice apartment

The location. 10 minutes from the city center, but the area was not so nice. Drug dealing at night. Good with the bus/tram stoping just in front of the door.

The apartment is spacious , very high and well equipped. It is on the first floor so there is no problem bringing any luggage , and as it was mentioned in description of the flat, it is a few minutes to the city center . The bus and tram stop is located almost in front of the building so one can easily and quickly reach any point of the city. There was a good communication with the host
