Il Nido di Nora - Apartment

Il Nido di Nora is a spacious, cool and comfortable apartment. It is very central to Salerno and yet you do not hear the noise of the city. The new air con is excellent and much needed in the hot summer months. The breakfast was great with delicious coffee and cakes. The cleaning service is excellent. The owner was easy to contact and quick to respond.

The parking was tricky to organise without speaking Italian and cost us £182.00 for two weeks - so factor that in if you intend to use a car.

A lot of space. Nice and clean and great beds.

Excellent spacious property with good communications with us for check in. We have a pushchair and unlike some other apartments in Italy, the lift was big enough. Initially had some issues getting pushchair in apartment as two doors and only one could be opened which was not enough to fit the pushchair, however host came to sort situation. Felt like a home rather than a holiday stay, it was so big and comfortable, but we have kids so was nice that was not full of breakable little trinkets etc that some apartments like to place around! Breakfast was big and good. Quite location, but central. Full size washing machine, with an outside line and pegs provided.

Other apartments in Italy have provided a microwave and kettle which makes life easier. Not a major issue though although I had forgotten how long water takes to boil manually :)

The Apartment Location is excellent, just minutes away from the sea, shops, restaurants, coffees etc. Well cleaned, maintained, bed was very comfortable and although the apartment is located in the "middle" of the city it is very well isolated from external noise. Coffee provided was awesome.

Gorgeous and big apartment. It has everything that you need and all of good quality so I must say it is one of the best apartments I have ever stayed in. Close to city center. Owner was very friendly and helpful. There is a private parking just next to the building. Delicious breakfast available.

All was amazing

The apartment is spacious, quiet and very clean and very near to the station, the traghetto to Amalfi and the old part of the city. Andrea is a very friendly host and we wish him very friendly guests 😀

There's nothing on the down side we could imagine.
