"Outstanding in every way."

10.0

It’s a beautiful cottage in the perfect location for us to visit family who all live close by. 2 minute walk to the train station with direct trains to Liverpool and Chester. Some lovely cafes opened since we last stayed which seemed very popular. The house is an excellent base for feeling at home and relaxing. James is an excellent host and makes sure his guests have everything they need and more when they are staying. Hopefully if James will have us back we will be booking again.

Nothing. It’s perfect for us.

"Beautiful house."

10.0

Great location and a lovely house with all you need for a comfortable stay. Very clean and tidy with a homely feel. The owner was very helpful too.

As the windows are the old traditional ones there is some noise from the railway opposite but it didn’t disturb us.

"Great stay in beautifully renovated historic cottage in conservation area with onsite parking"

9.0

Lovely little cottage which has been beautifully renovated with great style. Private yard and parking space were a bonus. Location was great for visiting Port Sunlight attractions, and also trains to Liverpool or Chester are very convenient. We also liked the 'home from home' feel and amazing collection of books and mementos! Huge TV and access to streaming channels

Shower was great but water was uncomfortably hot! We couldn't get it any cooler.

First time visiting Port Sunlight, and it’s ideally located for all the attractions, and a very short walk to the theatre, and the museum is only a short walk and well worth a visit, and Lady Lever art gallery. There’s no need to leave Port Sunlight!
