Rälla Camp - Öland

Great experience for a short stay. A warming lamp was a big bonus since it was rather chilly outside.

Located on a large parking lot, near the main road. Rather noisy.

Cosy experience over night in a large two-bed tent. Excelent breakfast sereved in a retro american restaurant vibe. The staff were amazing—funny, helpful, and truly engaging! Their energy made the whole experience unforgettable, especially the show, which had everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. Great vibes all around.

The restrooms were really far from the tent area, so one would have to walk way too much in the middle of the night.

The hospitality and very generous American breakfast spread were great, especially well liked by the kids. Comfortable beds.

The Camp is close to big road and the noise was pretty loud.

My bf and I checked in late. We arrived after 1 hour but no one was there to show our tent eventhough it stated 24h check in. I started asking around (the guest) but they said self check in. So confusingly I started to look for empty tent. We were so confused, we didn't know which tent was ours and I accidentally went into a wrong tent ,how embarrassing!!! as the guest of the tent saw me opening their tent!!! We were so tired ,disappointed and confused. I tried calling the property but no to avail. After what seems like forever one of the staff came to show us which tent and was very kind to invite us to join the night party . So finally we had a tent but the moment i went inside the tent i saw a huge bug and all the bedding was not done. The staff does not even provide any bedsheets or pillowcases. I was planning to ask the staff but he was on stage singing and entertaining other guest. So I decided to go to shower to refresh myself after a long day but we had to go through the crowd in restaurants (everyone looked at us when we went to toilet x). Once in the toilet, we noticed there's no shower!!! Haha! Maybe we went into the wrong room? I didn't see any shower shown but only toilet and thought this camping place have no shower. (But later i read others comments and they mentioned shower) . We didn't want other people looking at us so weirdly which they already did because we looked so diff ( i'm not a swedish) so my bf and I decided to leave the place in the end and look for other place to stay. We didn't cancel the booking because either way there's no refund. 💔💸

The tent is nice and clean and rather spacious. Bed, duvets and pillows are very comfortable. The owners are friendly and chatty people. The camping area is rather big, and during prime season it could probably develop into a really cosy neighbourhood.

The description of the breakfast was "American breakfast". The picture on booking.com indicated many exciting items included in the breakfast, however the bag delivered contained only sandwiches and coffee. The camp is located quite close to the main road on Øland. If you are not used to sleeping in a tent, I recommend you bring ear plugs. Advertisement on booking.com is also indicating food, drinks and events at the nearby American Diner. Be aware that this is most likely is only applicable during prime, prime season. August 14-16 it was all closed.

Really well equipped tent, was fun to stay in especially for my 7 year old. Super comfy double bed. Really cosy tent interior. Self check-in was smooth. Cool breakfast area in American style diner. Easy parking right beside the tent and huge grassy communal in between to play and have BBQ and stuff

Would have loved to stay when more was going on. Evening events weren't on the day we stayed and no cooking facilities. Toilets and shower are a bit far away from the tent especially for a child in the middle of the night and the foldaway bed wasn't very comfortable. It's also right next to the main road although separated by lovely trees you do hear a lot of traffic

Toilet and shower were a bit far a way and not optimal. Also the camping site outside the tent was a bit dull.
