I love the interior. Its beautifully decorated and super comfortable. The space is beautiful, and located in the old city of Cosenza. It’s easy to get to everything and the architecture in the area is stunning.

The host, Marco, and hostess, Rosa, were superb! From the time I booked this wonderful BandB until the very end, they went out of their way to ensure that every detail was looked after. They were very, very kind and informative about what to see and do in Cosenza. I loved my room… it had frescoes on the ceiling and very high windows that opened. You could hear the songbirds in the morning and gaze at the beautiful views of the mountains, clouds, centro storico, and the wonderful historic art on the buildings. The breakfasts were delicious . I was excited to see a fresco of Queen Isabella of Aragon right outside my window. I was fortunate to see and hear the exciting event of the Ordination of new Priests at the Gorgeous Cathedral and to see how engaged people of all ages were with their faith. Loved Cafe Renzelli; the proud owner told me of its history in her family since 1803! The city of Cosenza is steeped in Italian history , and the Historical Association have displayed its rich history throughout the city with frescoes and narratives about events that occurred over the millennia. Seeing statutes of King Alaric and the prehistoric, woman warrior was stunning. Rosa, Marco and Paula were so helpful in making my fist trip to Cosenza so memorable. I will definitely return!! As an experienced and 'old' architect, I found this historic house absolutely stunning. This meticulously restored 17th-century building not only preserves the stories of yesteryears but elevates the experience with rooms that are nothing short of artfully curated masterpieces. The hosts have managed to strike the perfect balance between preserving the historical integrity of the house and providing the amenities expected by today's travelers. The rooms are elegantly decorated, featuring plush bedding and modern conveniences, ensuring a comfortable stay without compromising the property's historic allure. The breakfast was delightful, brimming with Italian delicacies. Cosenza was also a pleasant discovery.

It was a beautiful hidden hotel in the heart of the old district. Tall ceilings and tile flooring. Very clean place to stay. Would recommend a stay to friends for sure.

If you have a car, you may want to rethink. As like all boutique hotels in older areas, parking and driving the narrow roads are to be reflected.
