M Y hotel

I enjoyed every bit of my stay. The staff easily became family, which is truly valuable when you are a solo traveler, and somewhere where we don’t have access to simple things. They helped me with so much and are so hospitable.

I have to offer my deep gratitude to the staff at MY Hotel, especially the owner, who was extremely helpful after I lost my phone while traveling in Timor Leste. He helped me look for it and later got me a new phone so I didn't even need to go to the store myself. He also picked me up and dropped me off at the airport for no charge. He was very helpful and flexible, and I very much appreciate this! Thank you!! I also had a great time diving with the scuba company that's located on-site. They took good care of me too!

I would note that this hotel often hosts private events around its central swimming pool that can be very loud.

I liked there is a fridge. There was a balcony. Free breakfast with stay. Pool. A few sweet pet dogs in the common area. WIFI throughout the common areas. Water and drinks available at the bar on property and restocked in room daily.

The bathroom had past products of someone else that weren't gotten rid of, but not sure if that was so the next tenant could use it perhaps. There were some leftover receipts from the previous tenant on the table. The AC I had to keep on constantly to regulate the temperature in the room instead of being able to shut it off when I leave the room - it would take a long time to cool down the room if I did that. There was a sewer smell coming from the shower everytime I turned it on. WIFI couldn't reach my room. Not a big deal though.

Worst hotel experience in 5 years of traveling - A lot of unbearable noise. One day they invited 40-50 people on party with karaoke inside the hotel. And this is very small hotel! Till night they were singing, drinking, making party. Noise level was so high I ran from my room outside of hotel. At night of the same day several nearby cafe started their party. There was imposible to sleep till 2 am - Poor service. Booked the room via booking. Received confirmation. On arrival they told me that there are no free rooms. After massive complaints and promise that I'll go to the booking.com customer service they found a room for me) - Employees do not care about you - looks like a hotel on restoration Poorly managed, bad looking place. But the hotel owner is a friendly person
